Let me guide you through the process with compassion and expertise for your peace of mind.

When someone passes away, families are suddenly faced with a long list of legal and administrative tasks at the very moment they’re grieving. Court filings, asset inventories, creditor notices, and strict deadlines can feel overwhelming. Oregon probate requires months of documentation, court oversight, and careful attention to detail, all of which can add stress during an already painful time. With the right support, you can navigate the process with clarity, confidence, and compassion.
I take on the legal aspects of the probate proceeding while providing clear and direct guidance to the Personal Representative for the rest. I can also provide referrals to other professionals who may be required in the process, such as CPAs or realtors. You do not have to walk this path alone.

You don’t have to shoulder the legal burden alone.
I’ll be your guide, handling the complex legal work with empathy and precision while providing you with clear instructions for all the tasks you will need to perform.
My Process
We begin with care. I listen to your story and understand the emotional and practical challenges you’re facing after your loss.
I provide guidance about what is expected of the Personal Representative along the way, taking out the guesswork.
I handle all court filings, ensuring the estate is administered as efficiently as reasonably possible.
After the probate concludes, I remain available to assist with planning for your family’s next chapter if you desire to do so.
Client-Centered Approach
When you’re grieving, you shouldn’t have to manage court paperwork or legal language. My assistant, Emily, and I work together, efficiently, to oversee your probate process with care and precision, and in a financially responsible manner.
I believe in clarity and simplicity, especially when life feels uncertain. I provide clear outlines of what will be required through the process and help you understand what to expect.
I’m familiar with Oregon probate courts and procedures so I can help you navigate the process efficiently.
Oftentimes, there are elements of conflict within families after loss. I help you navigate those with compassion, seeking cooperative, reasonable, and cost-effective solutions.

Providing compassionate and clear estate planning guidance to our friends and neighbors throughout the Eugene and Lane County area.
Probate is not a quick process. It takes at least 6 months, but can take longer depending on many factors. Sometimes, it can take more than a year. I work to streamline the process wherever possible.
No. Some assets can bypass the probate process entirely. I’ll review the situation to determine the most simple path forward.
Costs can vary greatly depending on the complexity of the estate, and I bill hourly for my time in probate matters. Unfortunately, while I prefer to work on a flat-fee basis (and I think my clients prefer this as well), it is really impossible to do that with the vast majority of probate matters are there are too many unknowns at the outset. There are certain exceptions to this that I do charge flat fees for (e.g. Simple Estate Affidavits and probates that meet very specific requirements). Let’s talk about it for your situation.
