Depending on how it’s written, it can authorize your chosen agent to handle finances, property, or legal matters on your behalf if you become incapacitated.

Technically, yes. I do not, however, recommend this in most situations. While there are certainly exceptions to every rule, having more than one agent can lead to unnecessary confusion so I typically recommend against it. As I get to know you and understand your goals, I may be able to offer custom solutions that meet your needs and alleviate your concerns with having only one agent

I typically create durable Power of Attorney documents which remain in effect even if you lose capacity. There are, however, options to create limited duration Power of Attorney documents for specific purposes. We can discuss the right type of document for your goals
