While legal ethics hasn’t always been the central focus of my career, it has consistently been a subject of deep interest and a natural extension of my decades-long work handling legal malpractice claims. 

It is not uncommon for ethical considerations to intersect with professional liability matters. This experience made it a natural progression to begin advising attorneys on their ethical duties and responsibilities.

In my current practice, I provide practical, confidential guidance to lawyers navigating ethical challenges. My services include:

• Advising on compliance with the Oregon Rules of Professional Conduct
• Responding to ethics complaints filed with the Oregon State Bar

I am a member of both the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers (APRL) and the American Bar Association’s Center for Professional Responsibility, staying current on national trends and best practices in legal ethics.
